What is the yarn structure of polyester?
In polyester yarns, crystalline and amorphous areas exist. They are a thermoplastic material. The chains have a zig-zag structure and are linked to each other by Van-der-Waals connections. During the cooling process, crystallization and orientation of the polymeric chains occur.
What is the softest type of yarn?
Cashmere: The softest and fluffiest yarn of them all, but is also rather expensive and not that strong.
